Aspect Ratio
- Aspect Ratio describes the dimension of an image by comparing the width and height, in the form of Width : Height.
- Cinema screens - 1.85:1 or 1.43:1 (IMAX).
- Television screens - 4:3 or 1.33:1 (older format).
- More common widescreen - 16:9 or 1.77:1 and 21:9 or 2.33:1(newer).
- Aspect Ratio is adjust for both portrait and Landscape modes.
- By using Aspect Ratio we can save the time and rework as a designer.
- By this we can understand where to crop and what parts of an image or project will be dropped.
